Just Imagine

Imagine not having any worries about how to find love, because you are able to watch them as they sleep. Looking past the past sometimes is hard ,because we get this mindset that we can't make it past that point in our life. The tape of that moment that broke your heart keeps playing in your heart on repeat, and I think it's time you switched the tape. The past is played out and the future is more beautiful. Some people may leave your side but that is because they are suppose to leave in this season. I've carried bags filled with love letters of my past and so I wonder why I can't carry on? But as I look into your eyes I look into this bliss that calms my soul for eternity. So what does my heart do with this bliss besides I become engulfed by it. I know life gets hard between work, bills, parties, and maybe even kids. But when you have that special someone to take your hand and make you realize that everything is going to be more than ok or great but historic. It allows your mind some kind of peace and allows you to pick up the pieces from the shattered heart that constantly gets broken. I sit here tending to wounds that were never healed because they weren't caused by you. I wouldn't make me fix that which you haven't broken. These wounds were caused by her and her and her too many names to list. I visit these names that are stacked into flat sheets making up my heart. It's visual testimonies that I call poetry and allow you to travel the sidewalks of my life. Please take a walk down my life and live in my shows for a moment. The constant emotions that are built to its breaking point and watch as they rock and stare for an opportunity to be able to reflected through another's eyes. Sometimes being able to see the same pain you feel in another eyes allows you to know that you aren't alone or is it true that missouri loves company? Maybe I should divorce Missouri (Throws his ring on the table) 13 years was long enough.
